What are the requirements for boarding?
To ensure a fun and stress-free experience for everyone, we require the following:
-
Behavioral Screening: This brief assessment allows us to understand your dog's temperament and ensure a good fit for our pack environment.
-
Up-to-Date Vaccinations: For the health of all dogs, we require current vaccinations for rabies, bordetella (kennel cough), and distemper.
-
Spay/Neuter: Dogs over 1 year old must be spayed or neutered to participate in boarding (with exceptions for documented medical reasons).

What happens if my dog gets sick or injured?
If Your Dog Gets Sick or Injured During Their Stay:
Safety First: We prioritize your dog's well-being. If your dog shows any signs of illness during their stay, we will:
-
Isolate them from other dogs to prevent the spread of any potential illness.
-
Contact You Immediately: We'll notify you about the symptoms and discuss next steps.
-
Veterinary Care:
-
For non-emergencies, we can schedule an appointment with your trusted local veterinarian (additional fees may apply).
-
In case of an emergency, we will take your dog to the nearest PACE (Pet Animal Care Emergency) facility.
-
Transparency and Responsibility:
-
We cannot be held responsible for illnesses contracted during boarding as social environments carry a risk of disease transmission.
-
Preventative Measures: Up-to-date vaccinations significantly reduce the risk of illness. Please ensure your dog's vaccinations are current before boarding.
